On October 24, 2025, at the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards ceremony, Nomura Real Estate Vietnam was honored with three major awards: Best International Partner Developer, Best Wellness Housing Development, and Best Waterfront Housing Architectural Design. Inspired by the Japanese term “Komorebi”, meaning sunlight filtering through leaves, The Komorebi is envisioned as a serene oasis in the heart of the city. With a low construction density of only 12%, the project dedicates most of its space to greenery, water features, and open landscapes, fostering a healthy and rejuvenating environment for both body and mind.

Under Kengo Kuma’s design direction, the development embraces Japanese aesthetics through the use of natural materials such as burnt basalt stone, Kawara roof tiles, and wood-grain aluminum louvers with custom patterns – all designed to harmonize with Vietnam’s tropical climate.

The highlight of the project is the Ikigai Wellness Center, featuring a Japanese-style mineral onsen bath, Himalayan salt sauna, Zen yoga and meditation spaces, and the 2-hectare Youth Park (pre-certified SITES Gold) with scenic lakes, BBQ zones, and children’s playgrounds.

The project also boasts a modern artificial beach that channels filtered water from the Cam River right up to the backyard of each villa – redefining the complete “wellness living” experience where tranquility begins at home.

The Miyabi – The Harmony of Architecture and Nature

While The Komorebi celebrates light and calmness, The Miyabi embodies the elegance and refinement of riverside living, inspired by the Japanese concept of “Miyabi” – grace and elegance. Designed by Kengo Kuma, the project is situated along the Cam River, with 96% of its villas and townhouses featuring private artificial beaches just steps from their terraces.

The amenities include a tea pavilion by the lake, redwood bridge, koi pond, pine and cypress gardens, Zen garden, and BBQ trails within the 7.5-hectare Zen Park, creating a tranquil environment where residents can enjoy spiritual well-being amid nature.
