
NREV Signs Green Deposit Agreement with Mizuho Bank in Vietnam: A Step Toward a Sustainable Future

In September 2025, Nomura Real Estate Vietnam (NREV) entered into a Green Deposit agreement with Mizuho Bank. This initiative aims to channel funds into environmentally friendly projects, demonstrating NREV’s strong commitment to solving social issues.
Earlier, in June 2025, NREV also signed a Green Deposit agreement with OCB (Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank), one of Vietnam’s leading commercial banks. Through these partnerships, NREV continues to support green projects that contribute to solving social issues in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese government has set an ambitious goal to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. As part of this effort, a pilot carbon credit market is scheduled to launch in 2025.
